Hello, I am Tim,

I live with my wife, Bridget, in Kirklevington, near Yarm. Marrying Bridget is the best thing I ever did! My second love is photography, ever since my Granddad put a camera in my hand when I was a toddler, I've loved the challenge of creating beautiful imagery. Being a wedding photographer is the best job ever for me!

I studied photography at Harrogate College of Art and at the Northern College of Art (formally CCAD). I’ve worked in many areas of photography, including magazines, advertising, public relations and industrial photography. I’ve taught it at degree level, and I set up Tim Stewart Photography back in the days of film. In 2007 I qualified as an Licentiate with the British Institute of Professional Photography and in 2016 attained an Associateship (ABIPP), one of only a handful of wedding photographers in the region to have achieved this. I am also an Associate of the Royal Photographic Society (ARPS) and a fully qualified member of the Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers.

On your wedding day you'll find me organised, calm and relaxed.
