I live with my wife, Bridget, in East Cowton, near Northallerton. Marrying Bridget is the best thing I ever did! My second love is photography, ever since my Granddad put a camera in my hand when I was a toddler, I've loved the challenge of creating beautiful imagery. Being a wedding photographer is the best job ever for me!
I studied photography at Harrogate College of Art and at Cleveland College of Art & Design. I’ve worked in many areas of photography, including magazines, advertising, public relations and industrial photography. I’ve taught it at degree level, and I set up Tim Stewart Photography in 1989. In 2007 I qualified as an Licentiate with the British Institute of Professional Photography and in 2016 gained an Associateship (ABIPP), one of only a handful of wedding photographers in the region to have achieved this. I am also an Associate of the Royal Photographic Society (ARPS) and a fully qualified member of the Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers.
On your wedding day you'll find me organised, calm and relaxed.
